| What is Baptism? First of all, Jesus said, "You must be born again" How? By asking Jesus to forgive your sins and come into your heart. The next step is to be Baptized. The Scripture in Romans 6:4 in the Bible states... We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death. (Let me explain What this means. When we go into the waters of baptism we leave our old sinful self buried. When we rise up out of the water In God's eyes, we are a new person in Christ Jesus. God, through Christ buries our sins in the sea of forgetfulness and our slate is wiped clean.) in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through Glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. |
