Our Goal for Missions in 2012 is to raise $60,000 To bless and support the pastors and thier ministries in.....

Zimbabwe
The Purpose

To provide housing materials for homes and a new orphanage and as well as food and other necessary household items.

Malawi
The Purpose 

Join us in supporting long time missionary Phyllis Labrantz who is the founder of "Friends of Malawi Ministries". With a school  and
employee's and the challenges she faces on a daily basis living in Malawi, Phyllis needs our prayers and financial support.

India
The Purpose

$100 a month will help support pastors in India so they can be free to preach the gospel in thier home and surrounding area's. 

 Haiti

The Purpose

To provide financial support to Kings Garden Hospital, School and Orphanage which was founded by Dr. and Junie Morquette of Haiti.

To join Pastor Lloyd and his congregation with their building project after Evangelique Unie Church was heavily damaged by the earthquake in January of 2010.

We are always excited to hear News of the improvements which are being made with the help of church family and friends such as yourselves.

We believe their is a future for Haiti and it is a new and revised future! We are so looking forward to being a part of the reconstruction of not only buildings but lives. Will you join us in this vision! 

How to Give

There are a couple of options in which you can contribute to any of the missions above.

1. Visit us at People's Church, Tuesday - Friday 9 am - 12:00 and 1 pm - 4:30 pm

We take Cash, Credit Cards and Debit  payments on site.

2. Send a Cheque made out to People's Church and write in the Memo which fund you wish to donate to.

Please make your cheques out to People's Church, Edmonton

A Charitable receipt will be mailed to you for income tax purposes at the end of the year.

Your gift will provide funds for Building projects, Medical Supplies, Food, Clothes, Water and Ministry supplies necessary to ensure the future and well being of individuals lives who are connected to these different ministries we are blessed to be a part of.

Pastor Laurence, had the priveledge of going to Zimbabwe in Nov of 2011. He discovered a people thier who loved God with all of thier hearts.  After one month, His heart was knit together with the pastors of the different churches and thier congregation. When he returned home, he begain to share the needs and the visions of the pastors and invited us to join with him in supporting them financially as the poverty and lack is quite severe.

A Team of 7 had the privilege of going to Port-Au-Prince July 2009. We had an opportunity to tour the Kings Garden Hospital, Orphanage, School and Evangelique Unie Church with Pastor Lloyd Mompoint and his congregation. Our team put on a puppet show, played games and did crafts and took time to play with the children. We shared the Word of God, sang and developed friendships that will last a life time. What a blessed time we had.  We came back a changed people.

We have had team members return throughout the last couple of years and brought us back reports of how strong the Haitian people are through this time. God's Grace is truly evident and we are so glad to be able to stay in contact with the church and members through letters, facebook and email. We thank the Lord for our friends in Haiti and we thank the Lord for your prayers and support.
