Haiti Relief FundThe PurposeTo provide financial support to Kings Garden Hospital, School and Orphanage which was founded by Dr. and Junie Morquette of Haiti. To help rebuild Evngelique Unie Church. Right now the congregation is meeting in the open air as the church is not safe to enter due to ongoing earthquake tremors. We believe their is a future for Haiti and it is a new and revised future! We are so looking forward to being a part of the reconstruction of not only buildings but lives. Will you join us in this vision! How to GiveThere are a couple of options in which you can contribute to the Haiti Relief Fund - Directed to Kings Garden Hospital, Orphanage, School and Evangelique Unie Church. 1. Visit us at People's Church, Tuesday - Friday 9 am - 12:00 and 1 pm - 4:30 pm We take Cash, Credit Cards and Debit payments on site. 2. Send a Cheque made out to People's Church and write in the Memo "Haiti Relief Fund" All donations to the Haiti Relief Fund will be sent to Kings Garden Hospital and Evangelique Unie Church Please make your cheques out to People's Church, Edmonton You will receive a charitable receipt at the end of the year for your donation. Funds Used For Your gift will provide funds for Medical Supplies, Food, Clothes, Water and supplies necessary to sustain the hospital, orphanage and Evangelique Unie Church, which is so desperately needed after this tragic event which took place on Tuesday, Jan 12, 2010. Testimony:A Team of 7 had the privilege of going to Port-Au-Prince July 2009. We had an opportunity to tour the Kings Garden Hospital, orphanage, School and Evangelique Unie Church with Pastor Lloyd mompoint and his congregation. Our Team put on a puppet show, played games and did crafts and took time to play with the children. We shared the Word of God, sang and developed friendships that will last a life time. What a blessed time we had. We came back a changed people. We are grieving with the families who are suffering through this tragedy. Our prayers are with them at this time.
